BIRDS OF PARADISE, ROSANNA BACH

BIRDS OF PARADISE, ROSANNA BACH

Regular price 40

In an age of perpetual scientific and technological advancement, man has become a modern alchemist that abstracts, bends and morphs the elements, subsequently some of these have become foreign to their source of origin. The closed cycle has been obstructed; Nature has become an abstraction to itself, and consequently man an abstraction to himself.

This compilation of photographs, self portraits, etchings, and poetry is a personal re-contemplation of reason, and wherein it lies. These works were created over a four year period, with them I have attempted to build a world free of context, time, place or name. Birds of Paradise is a personal catharsis of all that is of the mind.
